Best Drugstore Eyeliners June 2016

With the large selection of eyeliners that many drugstores offer, believe me when I say I've tried the vast majority. I've realized there is no need to spend a fortune on a high end eye pencil when there are a few great options that are just as creamy and long lasting.

I'm going to share my two favorites with you that I've been loving this month. What I personally look for is a high color payoff, a creamy consistency as well as something that stays put. (Which is very hard to find!)

NYC Show Time Velvet Eyeliner in Black Velvet ($3.00. Amazon.com) The color of this eyeliner is rich and true. I don't feel as though it blends as well as the Prestige liner, and I tend to use a lighter (yes, a cigarette lighter) prior to application to get a little extra creaminess, but all in all, this pencil was not a disappointment.

Prestige Total Intensity Eyeliner in Deepest Black ($5.95, Drugstore.com) Besides the fact that sharpening this pencil was frustrating as the pencil so easily broke off, this liner is certainly my new favorite. It's extremely creamy and applies very easily! I would even say that it's a cheaper version of Urban Decay's pencil in Zero.
